Character Counts Club welcome all Marlington High School students who have a desire to promote the Six Pillars of Character in the high school and community and who have not had disciplinary referrals in the past year. The membership fee is $10 and includes a t-shirt. Applications for new members and renewals are available outside of room 101B. Contact Mrs. Mitchell at [email protected] or Mrs. Kean at [email protected]. Students are encouraged to join during Duke Fest in September of each year, but can join throughout the year as well. Membership forms must be turned in by October 1 to assure you get the t-shirt size requested.
Some Character Counts service projects include: Iced Coffee Sales, Food Drive, Giving Tree, Champion Day, Character Counts Week, and volunteering in the community. Teens Against Cancer events include: Volley for a Cure, Team Trevor Night and Relay for Life.
