Reading:

Read "Green Invaders" (download it here)

   or

go to http://kids.nationalgeographic.com/kids/stories/and select an article.

Write a two paragraph summary of the article.

Bring the summary to school and hand it to your teacher.

 Day #2

Reading:

Listen to a book of your choice on the Tumble Books site from Rodman library. To access the free Tumble books program follow the steps below.

1. Click on the Rodman Library site.

2. Click on KIDS at the top of the Rodman home page.

3. Click on the Tumble Books icon on the upper right hand side of the page.

4. The next page is the Tumble Books homepage. From here you can click on story books and choose a story to read or have read to you to complete your assignment.

Write the title and author's name on your paper.

Tell what genre the book is. Identify the main characters and what happened in the story.

Bring the paper to school and give it to your teacher.

 Day #3

Click on the lesson called 'Eye on Idioms.'

Answer the questions. Write your own idioms. Print you work when you are finished.
