Hello!

This is my 26th year at Marlington High School. This year, I have English 12, CCP Intro. to Human Communication, English 11, and Technical English 11. I am a summa cum laude graduate of Youngstown State University 1996 and completed my master's degree in instructional technology through Walden University with a 4.0 in June 2010.

My son, Taylor, is in a masters of nursing program at The Ohio State University. My older son, Austin and his wife, Melanie, graduated from there in 2020. Go Bucks!

Austin and Melanie gave me a grandson on April 3, 2023: Fynn.

My husband is a dairy farmer who likes to pull tractors. My favorite pastimes are dancing and landscaping my yard, and I love many genres of music.

Contact Information: main office: 330-823-1300. I stay after school most days if you need to contact me outside school hours. My planning time is 2nd period: 8:36-9:19.

Schoology

I will post upcoming assignments, copies of handouts, and class notes in Schoology. Use your Marlington username and password to log in.

I do not use Schoology for a gradebook. A few graded assignments will appear in there, but it will not be everything that is graded. It will transfer to eschool, our official gradebook where other assignments will also be entered. So, please do not look to schoology to monitor your grade. Use the home access center (HAC).
