Hello! I am Mrs. Schloneger and I hold the positions of MMS Dean of Students, MMS Science Educator of the 8th Grade Enriched Science classes, as well as MMS Science Department Lead Educator. This is my 32nd year of teaching, 27 years of which have been at Marlington Middle School, and I have a passion for citizen science engagement. I have been married for 29 years and have 2 college-aged children, as well as a newly adopted cat named Zola.
I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor's degree in Education, as well as a Master's degree from KSU in Curriculum and Instruction, with specialized concentration in Science and Math.
I enjoy all things outdoors, especially camping, hiking, gardening, and traveling. I like participating in and watching sports, as well as spending time with my family, reading, listening to music, and cooking and baking.
This is going to be a fantastic year! I love being part of the Marlington educational family and am looking forward to spending time with the students at MMS !
