We ARE Positively Marlington!

Welcome to Ms. Clevenger’s Class

Dear families,

I am excited to start the year and look forward to getting to know each of you! I received my bachelor’s of education from the University of Akron and have a master’s degree from Malone University. I have been fortunate to teach in the district for 8 years and am very proud of this school. I am also the busy mother of two wonderful teenagers and have a Himalayan cat named Mr. Puffy. In my free time, I like to practice yoga, read, and try new recipes.

Although I do not assign a lot of homework, the homework I do assign is VERY IMPORTANT. Please check the assignment calendar nightly to make sure your child is staying on top of their work. If your child has me for either reading or math, they will be expected to complete Simple Solutions homework daily, and tests will typically be on Fridays. I will send out texts via Remind to alert you of upcoming tests or quizzes.

I am also very fortunate to have an educational assistant, Mrs. Keller. Mrs. Keller is a graduate of the University of Mount Union and has over fifteen years experience working with children of many different age groups.  She has worked in the district for three years and currently has three children who attend school in Marlington. She enjoys reading, gardening, and camping/hiking with her family.

Throughout the year, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to a great year. Please contact me via email, and I WILL get back to you within 24 hours.
