A MESSAGE FROM MR. GROHOLY…

Hello Washington Families and Community Members,

Welcome to Washington Elementary! We are so proud to be a school filled with great students, a dedicated staff and plenty of Marlington pride. Through the continued efforts of our entire school community, including all of the wonderful families here, Washington Elementary has been providing our students with a strong, well-rounded education.

Alongside all Marlington Local Schools, Washington Elementary strives to provide students opportunities to grow as students and leaders. Many school-wide programs give our students the chance to be the best they can be, including Guys with Ties, G.I.R.L.S. Group, Student Council, Student of the Month, Dynamite Dukes and the STEAM Club.

With so many great opportunities, Washington pride thrives through our fantastic PTO and volunteer network. These devoted parents and community members work together to offer a variety of activities, such as classroom parties, fun family outings and other extracurricular celebrations.

At Washington Elementary, we care and believe that all students can learn and be successful. With this goal inspiring all that we do, Washington will continue to provide the building blocks of an outstanding education.

As this will be my fifth year as an elementary principal, I look forward to another year of academic excellence, individual growth and rewarding accomplishments.
