Ways to Help Your School

Helping Our School

Are you looking for easy ways to help our school?  There are plenty of simple things that you can do that will pay big dividends for our school.  Check out the links below to see how your trash (or recycling) could become cash for the school!

Box Tops for Education

Collecting box tops is a fun and easy way to earn cash for our school. The past couple of years we have earned over $1,000 for Marlboro, simply by turning in box tops. Send your box tops to school in a bag marked with your name, grade level and homeroom teacher.

Giant Eagle – Apples for the Students

Another simple way to help our school is to register your Giant Eagle Advantage Card online with our school ID. Most of us shop, occasionally, at Giant Eagle in order to take advantage of their Fuel Perks. Now, not only can you earn Fuel Perks, you can also have a portion of your purchase donated to your school.

There are two ways that supporters can register their Giant Eagle cards.

1. Visitwww.gianteagle.com, enter your e-mail address under the NEW USER REGISTRATION TAB at the right of the page and then follow the onscreen instructions. You will need to enter your Giant Eagle Advantage Card number (the 12 digit number on the back of the card under the barcode.) You will also need to enter your school ID code, which is 2525 for Marlboro Elementary.

2. If you don’t have a computer, you can call toll-free to

1-800-474-4777 and follow the simple voice prompts set up specifically for registering supporters for the Giant Eagle Apples for the Students program. You will need to enter your Giant Eagle Advantage Card 12 digit number and the school code for Marlboro, again 2525.

The Apples for the Students program runs for 24 weeks during the school year. However, you can register at any time. Once you have registered, there is no need to register again. The only time you would have to do this is if you wanted to change which school gets credit for your purchase.
