Lexington Elementary Staff is
committed to a positive behavior program where desired behavior is
modeled and rewarded. As a staff we try very hard to redirect
inappropriate behavior and resolve the situation before it escalates.
The students at Lexington Elementary School are participating in a
Positive School-Wide Behavior Program which is referred to as our Duke
Pride Expectations. This program consists of teaching students
school-wide behavior expectations and rewarding those that display good
behavior. Students are given a daily stamp for positive behavior to earn
an end of the week reward. Please refer to the chart that your child
will bring home daily. Parents are expected to initial this chart
nightly Monday through Friday. We truly believe that by working together
we can make Lexington a place where children want to come and spend
their time.
