Tutoring for the 7th and 8th grade students has begun this week. Since this has started, there is a concern about students missing activites after school due to tutoring. When students are involved in after school tutoring they are excused from their activity until tutoring ends. Sixth grade tutoring information will be going home this week. This tutoring program is not to make up homework that is past due, but is inttended to educate students on the skills of how to break down and interpret questions that will appear on the April OAT tests in conjunction with the tests and quizzes that are given here at the Middle School by your child's regular education teacher. If there are any questions about this, please call me here at the Middle School.
Also, please remind your child that as the weather warms up and the sun starts to shine that school is far from over. Spring is upon us and students have a tendency to want to think that school is almost over and they begin to look forward to summer. It is extremely important for your child to stay on top of their studies and homework this time of year!
There is a levy meeting this Tuesday night at 7:00pm at the H.S. in the Library. Please try to attend this meeting as it is for all community members. Involvement is great, but please come just to listen or gather information about the upcoming levy to better inform community members that may have questions.
