End of Year

It is hard to believe that we are ending another school year. I hope all of you enjoy the summer months ahead and are able to spend some quality time with your families. Here at the school we will be working on some major projects. Our middle school will have a new gym floor thanks to fundraising of the Marlingon Booster Club that was led by alumnus Rick Baxter. Along with the floor our administrative offices will be moved over to our middle school. With this move we will be simultaneously moving our Special Education Coordinator and also our school psychologists from the Berkey House which is located on Beeson Avenue and relocating their offices into the current administration building. We believe these moves will be a cost savings to the district and help us function at a more professional level.

Also this month lthe Marlington Board of Education will be weighing the next step in dealing with our financial situation. Obviously, with the failure of our levy the Board will have some very difficult decisions in the months ahead.
