Welcome to MMS Title. This is my sixth year at the middle school, however, this is my fifth year as the Title Teacher Tutor. I live in the Marlington School district and I have one student in school at Marlington and a daughter who just graduated from Marlington. I have degrees from the University of Mount Union, Kent State University, and Malone. I enjoy reading, camping, and spending time with my family, which includes my dogs.
This year we will be focusing on Reading/Language Arts curriculum and Math. I will be working with all Marlington Middle School students in Reading/Language Arts classes as the need arises for each student. This may be in a literature circle group, small groups reteaching a skill, or even working with the ELA teacher as a whole group. I will be tracking all students in fluency at the middle school. The NWEA MAP Skills tutoring program will be used with students who qualify for Reading and Math.
I welcome family involvement and hope to meet with each family throughout the year. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me. I will post updates and Title information in Schoology and the website.
