Welcome to Ms. Clevenger’s Class

Dear families,

I am excited to start the year and get back to learning!  For new families, please allow me to introduce myself: I received my bachelor’s of education from the University of Akron and have a master’s degree from Malone University  as well as a master’s from Concordia University. In addition, I am currently taking additional coursework from Liberty University. I am going on my eleventh year teaching at Marlington Middle School! (Wow! Time FLIES!) I have two WONDERFUL children, enjoy horseback riding, and LOVE TO LEARN.. I am an avid reader and creative writer!

Although I do not assign a lot of homework, the homework I do assign is VERY IMPORTANT. I will send out daily Remind text messages to alert you of homework and upcoming tests. Tests will typically be administered on Fridays.

I am also very fortunate to have an educational assistant, Mrs. Keller. Mrs. Keller is a graduate of the University of Mount Union and has over fifteen years experience working with children of many different age groups. She has worked in the district for six years and has three children in Marlington Local Schools.

Throughout the year, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Please contact me via email, and I WILL get back to you within 24 hours.

Sincerely,

Mary Clare Clevenger
