Mrs. Beadles

5th Grade Reading, Social Studies and Writing

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Beadles, and I have been teaching at Marlington since 2010. I teach 5th grade Language Arts and Social Studies, and you can find me on the second floor of Marlboro Elementary.

I graduated from Louisville City Schools and continued my education through Walsh University and The American College of Education. I live with my husband, Dan, and our two chubby cats: Finnegan and Peaches. I love working with 5th grade, and enjoy coming to Marlboro every day. Hanging out with the kids at Marlboro Elementary really makes me smile. On the weekends you can find me working in my yard, traveling or seeing movies. I also enjoy golf, and consider myself a "foodie." Movie theater buttered popcorn is one of my favorite things in the world - aside from 5th graders, of course.

I look forward to meeting you and your family!

Absent? We use Schoology in our 5th grade classroom!

Our work is uploaded daily to the students' online Schoology classroom. Here, you can find assignments, spelling and vocabulary lists, announcements and study materials. If you're looking for something from class you'll most likely find it here but only if you're a Marlboro 5th grade student.

You can access our Schoology Classroom by logging into Schoology through the Marlboro Student Web Portal. Enter your Marlington student username and password.
Example:
Password: Marl1234

*Note to parents: Your Marlboro 5th grade student has the knowledge and ability to perform this task independently as we use our Schoology Classroom frequently during the school day.
