Fall Reading Title News 

We are fortunate to have the NWEA MAP SKILLS program at MMS again for one final year. Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade who need extra help in getting their STATE AIR TEST scores up or improving on their NWEA MAPS Assessment scores are currently working on a computer based tutoring program. They work individually during their assigned time with me on the MAP Skills program. 

The program consists of any Reading/ Language Arts skill levels from Kindergarten up to 8th grade in which a student may need to learn a skill or have extra practice in order to master it. 

8th grade students will be working on Literature Circle groups soon and will start the fall fluency. 

7th grade will be working in Literature Circle groups soon and will start the fall fluency. 

6th grade students will be working on the fall fluency this month. 

All students may have extra help in their ELA classroom when needed since we are a Title wide building.
