Miss Knox: Intervention Specialist

Hello!

My name is Maura Knox, this is my first year at Lexington Elementary. I am beyond excited. I student taught at Washington elementary during 2021-2022 school year and then taught as an intervention specialist at Marlboro elementary during 2022-2023 school year. I graduated from the University of Mount Union in 2022. I golfed in high school and also in college. I am currently a golf coach at St.Vincent - St.Mary in Akron, OH. That is also where I graduated from high school. I am the middle school girls 7th grade basketball coach in Marlington. I get married this December, 2023! Since I was younger, I wanted nothing more than to be a teacher. I am teaching to make a difference and to help children in everything they need and deserve!
