Mrs. Beadles

5th Grade Reading, Social Studies and Writing

Welcome! My name is Jen Beadles, and I have been teaching at Marlington since 2010. I teach 5th grade Language Arts and Social Studies, and you can find me on the second floor of Marlboro Elementary. Stop by sometime!

I graduated from Louisville City Schools and continued my education through Walsh University and The American College of Education. I live with my husband, Dan, and our two chubby cats: Finnegan and Peaches. My mom, Suzy, is a frequent visitor to our classroom and a retired high school teacher from Louisville City Schools. Together, the three of us enjoy traveling, golf, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. During the summer, you can find me at Marlington Middle School working with the summer study program.
During the winter months, we are permitted five (5) Snow Days. In the event that we would require six (6) or more Snow Days, please refer to our online Schoology Classroom for up-to-date assignments, also known as "Blizzard Bags."
You can access our Schoology Classroom by logging into Schoology through the Lexington Student Web Portal. Enter your Marlington student username and password.

*Note to parents: Your student has the knowledge and ability to perform this task independently as we use our Schoology Classroom frequently during the school day.
