Welcome to my homepage! I am excited to be your choir and music teacher. We are going to sing many different styles of music this year and learn how to sight-sing by using solfege. I love music and I hope that through this class you will have a greater appreciation of it. I teach 6th grade music class, 7th grade choir, 8th grade choir and select chamber ensemble . Our choir program is fantastic!!
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I graduated from Mount Union College with a degree in Music Education. I earned my Masters degree from Marygove University. My husband, Scott is also the choir director for Jackson Local Schools. Matthew, Anna, Kara and Natalie are our four wonderful children. We are huge Disney fans!! We have a family pet, Belle who is a cream colored labradoodle and also an important part of the family.
I know that we are going to have a great year!
