Welcome to Mrs. Wood's 2nd Grade Website
Hello! I am Mrs. Wood, a second grade teacher at Washington Elementary! I graduated from Kent State University with my Early Childhood Education Degree and received my Special Education Degree through the University of Akron. I have taught at Washington for 17 years and love it here!
My husband, Tom and I love spending time with our family, especially at the beach. Our daughter, Victoria is married to Abdul. They live in Raleigh, North Carolina and have two dogs, Enzo and Oakley. Our son, Drew will be in eighth grade this year at Marlington Middle School, plays soccer for Marlington Select and loves to fish. We have one dog named Charlie and she is 4 years old.
I’m looking forward to a great school year and getting to know my new bunch of 2nd graders!
