WELCOME TO MRS. KOHMANN'S WEBPAGE!
I am super excited for my twelfth year teaching at Marlington HS! This year I will be providing support to sophomore level students in Algebra 1b (Mr. Kelly), Biology (Mr. Groff), 10th grade English (Mrs. Ewing), and American History (Mr. Motz). I am also the Chairperson for the Special Education Department at the High School.
Students in my classes need to come to class every day with a 3-ring binder, homework notebook, paper, pencils or pens and a great attitude!
I will also be the advisor for Character Counts and Teens Against Cancer again this year. We do many activities including volunteering at the Humane Society, Relay for Life, Food Drive, Giving Tree, Help a Teacher Move-In, and many other service activities. In addition, we have fun group social activities almost every month. Though our membership drive takes place in September, you are welcome to submit an application for membership anytime throughout the year. I would encourage all students to consider being a part of one or both of these groups this year.
I have a wonderful husband, daughter Laura who is a senior at Marlington, daughter Mandy who is a sophomore at Walsh University and three spunky dogs.
