My name is Denise Wright, and I am a science teacher at Marlington High School!
I will be teaching Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, Honors Physics, and CCP Chemistry. I'm looking forward to getting to know my students and their parents and guide the students through a successful year in science!
First, allow me to share a little about myself. Teaching is my life's passion, and I have been instructing high school and college students for 30+ years. This is my third year working at Marlington School. I am proud to be a DUKE! My years of experience as a teacher have shaped a teaching philosophy that guides how I help my students succeed in the classroom and beyond. I truly believe that their success begins with making them comfortable in the classroom, so I start our school year with plenty of activities so everyone can get to know one another. I strive to create a space for students to explore their own learning styles, then I'm there to help develop their interests and guide their absorption of the material.
It's my goal to develop an educational partnership which includes parents, the child, and myself. I want to make sure parents are aware of their child's progress throughout the school year. I invite you to be an active participant in your child's education, as this will only help him/her to grow in knowledge. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this information. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. My email is [email protected], or feel free to call me at the school during normal school hours. I genuinely appreciate the opportunity to serve Marlington's awesome students and their families!
